Downtown Riverside Rezoning Would Open 7 Acres Near Mission Inn Avenue to Housing and Retail

A stretch of land along Mission Inn Avenue in downtown Riverside could be cleared for housing and ground-floor retail under a rezoning proposal headed to the City Council.

The council is scheduled to take up the rezoning proposal at its next meeting, which begins at 1 p.m. at City Hall’s Art Pick Council Chamber, 3900 Main Street, with public hearings starting at 3 p.m.
