The woods at the dead end of Woodland Drive in Western Branch could soon become a 22-home neighborhood — and the city’s planning staff think it’s a good fit for the area.
Applicant Coastal Virginia Partners, LLC is asking the city to rezone a 13.2-acre parcel from R-15s to R-8, which would allow smaller minimum lot sizes and up to 22 single-family homes. The Planning Commission is scheduled to take up the case on July 8, with staff recommending approval, according to the city’s staff report.
