Residents of southeastern Lafayette Parish can expect continued construction over the next 12 months, as both Broussard and Youngsville have approved aggressive capital outlay budgets that will continue many ongoing road improvement projects in the area.
Broussard approved a 2026-27 fiscal year budget that calls for $23.7 million to be spent on capital outlay projects, with around $11.7 million funded through state and federal grants.
