LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the Arkansas Department of Human Services said one of the insurance carriers for the ARHOME Medicaid program will end its participation in 2027.
Centene Corporation, one of the four insurance providers for ARHOME, has announced it will no longer participate in Arkansas beginning in 2027. DHS officials said approximately 70,000 ARHOME beneficiaries are currently served by Centene.

Officials said DHS would work to move those impacted to a different plan, and no action is required by beneficiaries at this time. DHS will have additional information on next steps, including open enrollment instructions, “in the near future,” officials said.
