MEDINA — Three people were rescued Monday evening after being pulled into a clogged drainage system while attempting to clear debris from a private pond in the Twin Oaks neighborhood.
Medina neighbors gathered to remove sticks, algae and other debris from the drain after heavy rainfall caused water levels around the pond to rise. The individuals were trying to help the water flow away from nearby homes and prevent further flooding.
