BALTIMORE, MD (WBFF) — Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and a business coalition are pushing back against the owners and operators of the Dali ship, asking a federal judge to reject the companies’ latest effort to limit the scope of litigation stemming from the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse.
In three separate filings this week, the plaintiffs argued that Dali owner Grace Ocean Private Ltd. and operator Synergy Marine Pte. Ltd. are attempting to improperly expand a nearly century-old maritime precedent to avoid responsibility for damages caused by the March 2024 disaster.
