MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Klines were celebrating the 4th of July inside the comfort of their home on Libby Drive when the sound of metal hitting the hardwood floor gave them a scare they never anticipated.

Maida Kline was sitting in the front of her Cottage Hill Road home watching fireworks from the windows when she heard something.
“Just a metal sound,” she recalled.
The lights were off, so she picked up the object, set it on the table, and called in her husband, Steven.
“I said, ‘That’s a bullet!’ So celebratory gunfire, obviously. And it was a high-powered rifle. Well, I could tell by the tip of the bullet, and it just scared us really bad,” Steven explained…
