Saint John Fisher University is giving local high school students a hands-on look at careers in health care through its fourth annual Nurse Camp.
The weeklong camp is designed for students in grades 10 and 11 who are interested in health and medicine. Campers learn basic nursing skills such as hand-washing techniques and how to read vital signs, while also getting a closer look at what it takes to work in the nursing field.
