LAFAYETTE, LA. (KLFY) –A Lafayette man was sentenced to over five years in federal prison for methamphetamine trafficking, according to U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of Louisiana
Javon Robertson, 40, of Lafayette, was sentenced to 66 months in federal prison on June 30 after his guilty plea to Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine in April. As part of his plea, Robertson forfeited $79,805.00 in U.S. currency and a 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, which were proceeds derived from his sale of illegal narcotics.
The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit began an investigation in July 2025 into Robertson based on information that he was selling narcotics out of his home in Lafayette, officials said.
