An Alliance man on death row since the 1990s following his conviction in the murders of an elderly Portage County couple is seeking a pardon.
Tyrone Noling, 54, is scheduled for an Aug. 18 clemency hearing before the Ohio Parole Board, according to a July 8 media release issued by Noling’s attorney Brian Howe. The hearing followed Noling filing an application for a total pardon with Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine.
