LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) – One person was killed after a Wednesday crash in Lexington County that was described as a hit-and-run.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the wreck happened at around 6:50 a.m. in the area of S.C. 6 and WE Jeffcoat Road, which is located between Pelion and Swansea.
Troopers said a 2002 International tractor-trailer was traveling east on S.C. 6 when its trailer was hit by a 2023 Kia Rio going north on WE Jeffcoat Road. The tractor-trailer then reportedly went off the right side of the road and overturned…
