City of Fate announces ‘Fate Yards’ development to transform area northeast of Dallas

FATE, Texas — Another sign of North Texas’ rapid growth is taking shape just northeast of Dallas, where the City of Fate is announcing a major new development aimed at transforming the area into a regional destination.

In a social media post, city officials say “Fate Yards” is coming to the southeast corner of Memorial Parkway and Interstate 30. The roughly 50-acre project will be entirely commercial, bringing a mix of entertainment, dining, retail, and hospitality options to the fast-growing community.

Plans for the development include retail and office space, restaurants, a movie theater, a gym, and a large entertainment complex, the post read. The project will also feature family-friendly amenities like a splash pad and greenspace, along with Fate’s first hotel.
