FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A new permit from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is now required for some visitors to state wildlife management areas and lakes — even if they’re not hunting or fishing.
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s new Wildlife Management Area (WMA) and Lake Conservation Permit went into effect July 1. It costs $10.50 and applies to anyone who doesn’t already hold a hunting or fishing license.
