ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Low-income senior citizens and veterans can get free groceries Wednesday in Bernalillo County as a part of a program by Silver Horizons.
You can show up at the Bernalillo County Extension Building, 1510 Menaul Blvd NW, Wednesday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. No appointment is needed, you just simply show up. The eligibility is as follows:
- Must be 50 years or older (Proof of age required)
- Veterans of any age (Proof of veteran status required)
- Household income must be less than:
- $1,304.17 for household of 1
- $1,762.50 for 2
- $2,220.83 for 3
- $2,679.17 for 4
- $3,137.50 for 5
