EAST SPARTA, Ohio (WJW) — A 36-year-old man was killed Wednesday night after his motorcycle crashed into a tree in Stark County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 8:34 p.m. on Battlesburg Road, west of Maplehurst Avenue, in East Sparta.

Investigators said Donald W. Baughman, 36, was riding a 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Battlesburg Road when he failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Baughman was pronounced dead at the scene by the Stark County Coroner’s Office.
