The search was called off Wednesday night after eight hours, with plans to resume Thursday morning as part of a coordinated search-and-rescue operation. Authorities are asking the public to check security cameras on buildings, trails, and private properties for any footage that may aid the search. Law enforcement also urges community members not to organize their own search parties.
