Harrisburg Communications Director no longer employed by the city after being placed on leave

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Mischelle Moyer, who served as the City of Harrisburg’s Communications Director and spokesperson for Mayor Wanda Williams, is no longer employed by the city.

The announcement was made on Thursday afternoon, one week after Moyer was placed on administrative leave. The city has repeatedly declined to say why Moyer was placed on leave.
