ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County leaders celebrated the grand opening of The Enclave at Canopy Park on Thursday as they continue working to address the growing need for affordable housing.
The new development includes 104 one- and two-bedroom apartment homes for households earning between 22% and 80% of the area median income. Rents start as low as $400 a month for qualifying households, with average rents just more than $1,200 per month.
Orange County invested $3 million from its Affordable Housing Trust Fund to support the project. The Enclave at Canopy Park is the fourth affordable housing community supported by the trust fund to open this year, following Whispering Oaks, Barnett Villas and Residences at Emerald Villas…
