The Washington State Department of Agriculture is still fighting the Japanese beetle, and they want to work with you. Property owners or renters in Benton, Franklin, Yakima and King counties can still submit consent forms, which allows the WSDA to treat your property.
The Department said they use a “reduced risk” pesticide, Acelepryn® which the WSDA said is not considered a health risk for humans, pets, wildlife and other insects, including honeybees.
