LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Most people know Las Vegas for celebrity chefs and over-the-top restaurants. Christie Vanover wants people to remember it’s also home to championship barbecue.
The founder of Girls Can Grill is taking her passion for live-fire cooking to a national audience as a competitor on Food Network’s new competition series, “Pitmasters,” premiering Monday, July 13, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. New episodes will stream the following day on HBO Max and discovery+.
Although Pitmasters is Vanover’s latest Food Network appearance, it’s not her first. She previously competed on “Barbecue Brawl,” but said this competition pushed contestants in ways she’d never experienced before.
