A 480-acre development is taking steps forward in one of Meridian’s “last areas of growth.”
The Fields, a development represented by Mark Bottles Real Estate, is looking to get approval on its annexation into city limits, a future land use map amendment, and a preliminary plot of the first portion of the project. As BoiseDev reported, retail and commercial space, light industrial space, and several different kinds of housing are all planned for the project. It is located between Can Ada Rd. and Owyhee Storm Ave., and McMillian Rd. and Ustick Rd., near the border of Nampa and Meridian.
The developers went before Meridian’s Planning and Zoning Commission in May, where they got a recommendation of approval, and are set to go before the city council in July.
