Arizona issues cease-and-desist orders to five online gambling sites

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Arizona Department of Gaming issued cease-and-desist orders to five online gambling companies: BetOpenly, Bookmaker, Club WPT Online Poker, Kutt Inc. and Raffle Creator.

The ADG said that orders have been issued for alleged promotion of gambling, illegal control of an enterprise and money laundering.

The ADG said BetOpenly received a cease-and-desist letter for several violations, such as peer-to-peer sports betting and casino games that benefit the operator via a commission structure, enabling event wagering and daily fantasy sports contests without the requisite state licenses, and facilitating availability to underage Arizona residents…
