Two killed in crash with fire engine on I-75

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – Two people were pronounced dead at the scene of a crash on Interstate 75 southbound near the 141-mile marker, according to the Scott County Coroner’s Office.

Fire crews said the crash happened around 2:19 p.m. Officials said a car collided with the rear of a fire engine that was on scene for a separate single-vehicle crash. The coroner’s office said the driver and the front-seat passenger of the car were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two back-seat passengers were taken to UK HealthCare, where they are listed in stable condition, according to the coroner’s office…
