LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – This morning has had a stormy start, and more showers and thunderstorms are likely through Monday.
There will be a break from rain late this morning to early in the afternoon, but then another round is likely tonight. Much of the area has already gotten 1-2 inches of rain, and another inch of widespread rain is likely this weekend. Localized higher amounts are possible within thunderstorms, resulting in the risk of flash flooding.
Temperatures will be a tad cooler today, with afternoon highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.
Widespread fog is likely tonight, and overnight lows will be near 70 degrees. Sunday will have similar temperatures and a lingering chance of rain…
