JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) -Severe storms brought power outages and widespread damage Saturday to parts of Northeast Arkansas.
One of the hardest hit areas was the Lawrence County town of Black Rock.
Police Chief Bryan Archer said there is damage to City Hall and surrounding buildings, a house on Beech Street had its roof torn off, and reports of trees down from Highway 361 to 1st Street. No injuries have been reported so far. People are asked to stay away while crews assess the area.
Entergy Arkansas and Craighead Electric Cooperative also reported hundreds of customers lost power during the storms…
