MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) –This morning, we start in the mid- and upper 70s, with highs warming into the lower 90s inland and upper 80s at the coast. Actual air temperatures will be closer to typical, with feels-like temperatures near 100 degrees, still very warm but slightly lower than what we’ve felt the past few days. Partly sunny skies with a chance for scattered showers and storms continue through the evening. There is a slight risk of severe weather this evening. Some of these storms will be on the stronger side, bringing lightning and gusty winds and heavy downpours.
Tonight, temperatures dip into the lower to mid-70s. We will see mostly cloudy skies and a stray storm. The start of your next work week will bring us more hit-or-miss chances for showers and storms. Highs will be a bit cooler than normal, ranging from the mid- to upper 80s to the lower 90s. We trend drier by midweek, before the chance of rain returns on Friday. It will still be humid with dewpoints in the 70s. Highs will gradually start to warm up again by the end of your next work week…
