New $100M auto plant near San Antonio to bring 170 jobs

A global automotive supplier is expanding its Central Texas footprint with plans for a new manufacturing facility just east of San Antonio, bringing a $100 million investment and hundreds of future job opportunities to the region.

The Seguin Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) and the City of Seguin announced H-One Co., Ltd. will build a new facility for its North American subsidiary, KTH Texas, Inc., on 40 acres along F.M. 78 near the northwest corner of I-10 and SH-46., according to a news announcement.

The planned 300,000-square-foot manufacturing plant is expected to strengthen the growing industrial corridor between San Antonio and Seguin, with construction scheduled to begin before the end of 2026 and operations expected to start in April 2028, according to the announcement…
