Beaver Dam CC enjoying renaissance under new ownership
After Beaver Dam Country Club owner Mel Helms died in 2023, the bank took ownership and the course went into foreclosure. With the club facing an uncertain future, even routine maintenance was being put off. Tony Arvold, the longtime PGA golf professional and GM, was ready to retire and move to Florida.
Then Dax White, a Chicago attorney, came to the rescue…
