MILLS RIVER – Publix Super Markets announced its new Henderson County store’s opening date and is set to begin hiring.
The new store in Mills River is scheduled to open Aug. 12, according to a July 13 news release. Publix plans to hold a hiring event 10 a.m.-6 p.m. July 17-19 at the Clarion Inn in Fletcher, to fill the 140 positions at the new 50,000-square-foot store, according to a July 13 Publix news release.
