BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — A grand jury has indicted the 29-year-old man accused of assaulting a woman in the Bent Creek Experimental Forest. This comes after an Asheville woman filed warrants stating that she was attacked while running in the area.
Dillon James Curtis was charged with assault on a female, false imprisonment, interfering with emergency communication and communicating threats. He was later also charged with second-degree kidnapping.
Curtis has an arraignment on the charges later this month.
