BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSBteen ) – A growing teen takeover trend that has gained popularity across the Suncoast reached Manatee County over the weekend, when the Bradenton Police Department responded to a large group of teenagers gathered at Rossi Park Saturday night.
Officers say roughly 300 teens gathered at the park for a scheduled teen takeover. The trend has drawn increased attention across the region, including a May incident in Tampa in which 22 people between the ages of 12 and 21 were arrested.
