Cleveland police identify driver in hit-and-run crash that killed 66-year-old man in wheelchair

CLEVELAND (WJW) — Cleveland police said a member of the public helped identify the driver of an SUV who reportedly fled after hitting a 66-year-old man who was in a wheelchair in the early hours of July 4.

Police have not identified the suspect, who has yet to be arrested or charged, according to a Monday, July 13, update from police.

The crash happened just after 2 p.m. on Pearl Road, just south of Bradwell Avenue, police previously said.
