Transportation Security Administration officers at Fayetteville Regional Airport caught a traveler with an inert explosive initiator disguised as a key chain on Thursday, July 9, according to a news release. Brady Jackson, who’s worked nine years at TSA, spotted the banned item while running bags through the X-ray machine.
“Being in Fayetteville, North Carolina, next to Fort Bragg, we often see things that might not be as common in other areas,” Jackson said in the release. “I have learned to examine key chains very closely and anything that isn’t a key.”
