MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Thousands of rubber ducks will race across the waters of The Market Common in Myrtle Beach later this month.
The Myrtle Beach Duck Festival is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 25 at the Grand Park lake at 1119 Farrow Parkway, according to the City of Myrtle Beach. The event will feature live music, local food vendors, a live art exhibit, a Jeep and truck show, and activities for all ages.
The highlight of the event is the duck race set to begin at 4 p.m. Participants can “adopt a duck” for the race by making a $10 donation to their favorite local nonprofit organization. Those include Make-A-Wish South Carolina, Habitat for Humanity of Horry County, Kiwanis Club Carolina Forest, YMCA Coastal Carolina, and SOS Care…
