MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — Drivers are beginning to see progress on the Highway 501 realignment project as the first layers of asphalt are being installed.
Funded through the Horry County RIDE 3 program, the project will connect the Broadway Street intersection to 7th Avenue at Oak Street, creating a more direct route through downtown Myrtle Beach.
Storm drainage improvements in the area have also been completed…
