VERONA, N.J. (PIX11) — La Bella Princess Cafe in Verona abruptly shut down on Friday, upon orders from the township.
“It was basically, sorry, your permit is no longer valid,” said Martha Peralta, who owns the business with her daughter, Karissa Teixeira.

Peralta has been hosting princess-themed parties for 20 years. She and her daughter opened the Verona storefront to host birthday parties and ticketed events, including tea parties, and to run a cafe open to the public.
