Modesto man allegedly posted guns on Instagram, faces 15 years in prison if guilty

A 27-year-old Modesto man was indicted for being a felon and allegedly possessing firearms after posting photos and videos of guns on Instagram in June, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Court records show law enforcement tracked Samian Sivansay’s vehicle from Arizona to California, before attempting a traffic stop and pursuing him in a brief high-speed chase.

When Sivansay’s vehicle was found abandoned, officers recovered nine firearms inside, many matching those on his Instagram page…
