TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Toledo Police have arrested a man on a murder charge in the death of a 17-year-old girl in Toledo. Sources tell 13 Action News the teen girl was not the intended target in the shooting.
The Toledo Police Department announced Monday afternoon that Swayvone Morgan, 23, was arrested in the shooting death of Zayona Jackson, 17.
Sources told 13 Action News that it appeared two males were shooting at each other and Jackson was caught in the middle.
The shooting happened near Easterly Court and Artis Place in Toledo just after 1 a.m. on July 13. Jackson suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, police said…
