The Salvation Army in Lincoln is getting ready to help local students start the school year prepared. The organization’s annual back-to-school backpack distribution is coming up, and signups for families begin July 20th.
Major Kelsey-Moreno McCarter says they are collecting donations through August 5, including new backpacks, water bottles, lunch boxes, and packages of new socks. Community members can donate supplies in person or purchase items through the Salvation Army’s Amazon Wishlist…
