JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – The Federal Emergency Management Agency has awarded Arkansas $100,000 in relief aid following a series of storms that struck the state in April 2025.
The funds were directed to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. The agency said approximately two-thirds of the state, along with surrounding states, sustained extensive damage to AGFC property as a result of the storms.
Trey Reid, assistant communications chief for the AGFC, said the funding represents reimbursement for road and culvert repairs the state has already completed. Reid said additional reimbursements may still be on their way…
