(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Bystanders helped a motorcyclist, who was seriously injured in a Colorado Springs crash on Sunday, July 12, according to police.
Officers were called to the 2200 block of East Platte Avenue, east of the intersection with North Union Boulevard, around 3 p.m. on Sunday, following reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and an RV towing a trailer.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), the initial investigation revealed the motorcycle was heading eastbound on Platte Ave. when the RV slowed to turn right into a local business lot.
