MARENGO — Iowa County Supervisors agreed Friday to consider a flow control ordinance that would allow the Iowa County landfill to fine people and companies who dispose of their garbage anywhere other than the Iowa County Landfill near Homestead.
Garrett Dozark, a Williamsburg attorney and member of the Regional Environmental Improvement Commission which governs the Iowa County landfill, told county supervisors July 10 that, after months of working through details with the City of Williamsburg, all municipalities in the county have approved of the ordinance.
