Jury Convicts Delhi Man for Methamphetamine Offenses

A Delhi man who agreed to distribute methamphetamine and was found in possession of over 1,800 grams of meth was convicted by a jury last Wednesday after a three-day trial in federal court in Cedar Rapids.

45-year old Jesse Jon Harbach was convicted of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The verdict was returned following two hours of jury deliberations.

The evidence at trial showed that Harbach obtained methamphetamine from his source of supply in Arizona for over two years. During that time, Harbach received multiple packages at a rural Delhi residence. On March 10, 2025, after Harbach and an associate picked up a package, law enforcement officers stopped the car Harbach was in.
