A Sterling man has been charged following a Fairfax County Police Department investigation into a drug-dealing ring operating in Loudoun and Fairfax counties.
Robert Craig Violette Jr., 25, of Sterling, is charged in Loudoun County with four counts of displaying a firearm while distributing over one pound of marijuana and one count each of violent felon in possession of a firearm and felon in possession of ammunition. He is also charged in Fairfax County with four counts of distribution of a Schedule I/II narcotic.
According to court filings, FCPD Narcotics Unit detectives began investigating a drug dealing ring earlier this year. Detectives with FCPD’s Organized Crime and Intelligence Bureau and the Fairfax City Police said they conducted undercover cocaine buys from two men who were driving a vehicle owned by Violette.
