Lakeland Man Arrested After Alleged Road Rage Gun Threat On US 92

LAKELAND, Fla. – A 20-year-old Lakeland man was arrested early Wednesday morning following a reported road rage incident in Auburndale, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

Latravious Lanier faces two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, a third-degree felony.

The incident began around 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Sheriff’s deputies responded to Taylor Road in Auburndale after a victim reported a road rage encounter.
