Highland Park plaza & parking project gets urban water quality funding

DES MOINES, Iowa — The state is investing in another round of water quality improvements, this time focusing on projects designed to reduce stormwater runoff in urban communities.

This week, Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig announced that the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship is awarding $644,000 to four urban water quality projects in Cedar Falls, Riverside, West Burlington and Des Moines.
