NC man busted with gun, marijuana packaged like candy after aggressive driving in Hoke County: Deputies

RAEFORD, N.C. (WNCN) — A Hoke County man was arrested this week after his driving caught the attention of deputies, who then smelled a “strong odor of marijuana” coming from his car, the sheriff’s office said Wednesday.

The incident began on Monday in the 6000 block of Fayetteville Road, about two miles east of Raeford, when deputies stopped a driver who was later charged with aggressive driving, according to a Hoke County Sheriff’s Office news release.
