SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — A major transportation project more than a decade in the making is officially opening Tuesday, July 15, one day ahead of schedule.
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) originally planned to open the new Brampton Road Connector on Wednesday, July 16, but officials told WSAV the roadway was completed ahead of schedule and ready for traffic, allowing it to open a day early.
