FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) —Fort Wayne Police say drivers are continuing to push the limits on city streets, with new enforcement statistics showing a sharp increase in speeding during the second quarter of 2026.
The department’s dedicated Traffic Unit released its latest quarterly report last week, showing officers issued 930 speeding citations between April and June — up from 596 during the first quarter, a 56% increase.
