Mahjong tournament raises $8,000 for Alzheimer’s Association

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Wednesday afternoon, a mahjong tournament was played not just as a competition, but to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association.

The tournament was held at Temple Brith Kodesh in Brighton. The fundraiser supports future events like the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, but for the event’s organizers, the work they’re doing is in honor of their families.
